Dr. Allen Yang

Dr. Allen Yang was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. He received his D.D.S. from National Yang-Ming University in Taipei, where he was awarded the best intern doctor. Dr. Yang then entered The University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Certificate of Endodontics and his D.M.D., and where he continues to serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics.

After exploring life in Northern Virginia for almost four years (where Dr. Yang was voted the top Endodontist in the area), he and his family decided to “return home” to Philadelphia. Dr. Yang, his wife Laura and their two children, Byron and Bethany currently live in the Berwyn area.

Dr. Yang is actively involved in the Chester County and Delaware County Dental Society, helping members connect with other colleagues through organized dentistry. Both Main Line Today and Philadelphia Magazine have honored Dr. Yang as the area’s Top Endodontist.

What is a fun fact about you?

I enjoy music, traveling with my family, and following Philadelphia sports teams.

What is the best part of your practice?

Our staff is the backbone of our practice. They are professional and friendly which makes what could be a stressful environment very pleasant for both the doctors and patients. I also like the fact that our doctors all share the same philosophy, so when patients come in, they will always receive the highest standard of care.

Can you recall a memorable experience with a patient you helped?

Most patients fear root canal procedures, probably because there are many misconceptions about them. My most memorable experiences revolve around helping extremely anxious patients go through their entire treatment with ease, and converting them from doubters to believers.
