
Dr. Ameir Eltom received his Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He graduated with honors, received the “Dean's Salutatorian” award, and was inducted into the TKO Honor Society. Dr. Eltom then completed a one-year AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency, where he worked with children and adults with disabilities and gained valuable experience in hospital dentistry. He received the “Best Resident Award” for the highest degree of professionalism with patients, staff and faculty.
The next two years were spent in private practice in the San Francisco Bay area, before moving east in 2010 to join the Endodontics Department at The University of Pennsylvania. There, Dr. Eltom completed his specialty training, and was awarded the “Grossman Award” for outstanding proficiency in the Endodontics graduate program.
Dr. Eltom is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of The Royal College of Dentist of Canada (Endodontics). He is a part-time faculty member at The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and Chester County Dental Society.
