Dr. Lindi Orlin

Dr. Lindi Orlin grew up just outside Philadelphia in Lower Merion. She ventured to Atlanta for her undergraduate studies, completing a B.S. in Biology at Emory University, before returning to Philadelphia for her dental training at The University of Pennsylvania.

After graduating in 2008, she completed a general practice residency at Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey and practiced general dentistry in Manhattan for five years before once again returning to U. Penn to start her Endodontics training. Dr. Orlin earned the prestigious “Louis Grossman Award” during her Endo training for being the most outstanding resident. Main Line Today has honored Dr. Orlin as one of the area's Top Endodontists.

Dr. Orlin and her husband reside in Penn Valley, where they enjoy running and training for races, as well as enjoying time outside with their son Max and their daughter Viviene.

Can you recall a memorable experience with a patient you helped?

We see so many patients who are fearful of dentists, and root canals in particular. It is always so rewarding working with a patient who is nervous, and after completing the root canal, hearing them say that if they knew it was going to be this easy, they would have come a long time ago. I have seen a few patients who really neglected their teeth for a long time due to anxiety and fear. But after completing their root canals, they seem to be motivated to work toward restoring their dental health and function.

What is the best part of your practice?

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff and doctors, and the fact that we have the most up-to-date technology and equipment ready to help our patients.

What is a fun fact about you?

I like to spend time with my husband and two kids, playing outside, doing arts and crafts or baking cookies. I’m also an avid runner, and enjoy training and racing at all different distances.
